| Apple Chapel, located just outside of Paoli, Indiana in
Orange County. My mother's grandmother was Nancy "Jennie" Apple" and
the Apple's came from North Carolina in the early 1800's to Indiana.
All the Apple tombstones in this series of pictures are from this cemetery.
There is also an Apple's Chapel in North Carolina and I hope to go there one
day too. The William Ridley Apple, listed below as a child of Thomas
Apple and Jane Parks is INCORRECT. William Ridley is a son of William
Apple and his first wife, Caty Smith. In 1820 when William was born,
Thomas Apple would have been 51 yrs old and his wife, Jane Parks would have
been 55 yrs old !
