Coles County, Illinois Courthouse Civil War Monument - My maternal 3rd Great Grandmother, Martha Bundy Monticue Wilson arrived here in 1862/3 and died very shortly after arriving (she became ill on the trip here from Henry County, Indiana.  See more on the Monticue Line here.  Her son William Lewis Monticue stayed here and had several descendants stay in the county.  Several are buried in the Mound/Roselawn Cemetery.  Martha's son, William Lewis was in the Civil war and he has a government marker at the Roselawn/Mound Cemetery.
