In April 2008, I visited Fort Harrodsburg, KY where my ancestors were when they first came into Kentucky. My 5th Great Grandfather, Garrett Pendergrass, was killed and scalped right outside the Fort walls while his family watched. Outside of Harrodsburg there is this cemetery where the McAfee family and many other early pioneers settled. The McAfee family came in very early and were very prominent in the area; there were five boys and I'm sure there are many, many descendants out there. I am not related to this line, but I love old cemeteries, and feel they should be digitally preserved as much as possible.
