Nancy "Jennie" Apple - My great grandmother, she was born in 1881 and died in 1958.  She went to visit relatives (two of her sons and their families) in California in the early fifties (I think) and she is pictured here next to the ocean, probably the one and only time she traveled far from Indiana and surely the first and last time she saw the Pacific Ocean.
